The situation
A revenue officer for a creative studio whose owner is the creator: run the go-to-market, own the revenue narrative on every engagement, and bring the work in.
World-class craft, no revenue function, and a concept of the studio's own, Plunge Studio, pitched to me as an investment before it was ready to be funded.
Someone to say make it better first and price what better meant, then bring clients and hold the narrative on each engagement while the studio built.
Advise instead of fund: the build cost, the go-to-market and the capital plan before any money. Then take the fractional CRO seat, source the marquee engagements and set direction while the studio built.
Six engagements on the roster, five of them opened by me, four delivered as finished brand work: an Olympic champion's identity, a golf creator's personal brand, a golf polo brand built as part of the Drive for the Dream show package, and a deep-tech client's brand system. Lip Loi Creative now sits inside the Common Ground portfolio.
